What I accomplished as a Gameplay Programmer
Concepted this episode's mystery and progression from puzzle to puzzle
•  Designed and implemented all characters (including the player) and their abilities
•  Co-designed and implemented all puzzles
Overall, I worked on everything related to programming while also helping our sole designer with the narrative and puzzle designs. Most of what's in Last Train Home, except for unique gameplay objects and art pieces, were imported from its previous episode in the series, Hard Times at the Heavy Heart Motel. Thus, a lot of focus went into the level and puzzle design. Both feed into our core pillars of exploration and puzzle-solving, such as the player needing to take note of symbols on the power switches matching the symbols on the train station map and a series of numbers on a propaganda poster that unlock a briefcase containing a puzzle item.
Last Train Home is the 2nd episode of the Monochrome Mysteries series. During bombings in Great Britain at the peak of World War ll, citizens took to underground subways for safety. Unfortunately for you, you've been murdered by an unknown assailant. Solve puzzles and explore the mysterious subway to find your killer and bring them to justice!

Check out some of my other projects! (or don't...do you, dude)
